Verity Nodes Ltd is the data controller for information collected through this website.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, company name, website address and message you enter.

When you use the engagement intake form, we collect what you tell us about your industry, what you sell, your product lines, target countries, languages, website, competitors, average deal value and your objective in your own words.

When you email us directly, we hold your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message.

We collect nothing else through this website. There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up, no profiling and no advertising technology of any kind.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Nothing here follows you to another site, and nothing about your visit is recorded beyond the standard server logs our hosting provider keeps for security and reliability.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send us to reply to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep a record of the conversation.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — specifically, responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us. You can object at any time by emailing us, and we will stop.

We do not use your information for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we do not run a marketing list.

Who else sees it

Netlify, which hosts this website and receives what you submit through either form. Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States.

Our email provider, because your submission reaches us as an email.

That is the complete list.

We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and we do not pass it to any third party for their own purposes.

Where your information is held

Our hosting and form provider operates outside the United Kingdom, principally in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law, including the standard contractual clauses our providers operate under.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: twelve months, then deleted.

Enquiries that lead to work: for the duration of the engagement and six years afterwards, which is the period we are required to keep business records.

Direct emails: for as long as the correspondence is live, then under the same rule as above.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy, correct anything wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, stop using it altogether, or send it to you or someone else in a portable form.

Email hello@veritynodesltd.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first, but you are under no obligation to.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

Changes to this page

If this page changes, the date below changes with it. We do not keep an archive of earlier versions; if a change matters to you, ask and we will tell you what it was.
